Index of environmental trends
The index shows the share of improving environmental trends in the environmental indicators of sustainable development for Estonia. The trends of 36 indicators in total are assessed compared to the base year (2000 or first year available).
The indicator is also a measure of performance in the ”Estonia 2035“ development strategy.

Red leaves
In “Estonia 2035” and Government Action Plan, red leaves indicate that the indicator value is deteriorating or lacks direction and the desired result has not been achieved.
