These are inputs from monitored rivers flowing into the Baltic Sea, from unmonitored areas, transboundary rivers, and point sources flowing directly into the Baltic Sea. Point sources are considered to be all wastewater treatment plants with a capacity of more than 50 PEs with water discharged directly into the sea, and sea-based aquaculture facilities.
